3rd Open Workshop on 30 May 2008

The EC-funded RCI (Road Charging Interoperability) project – which is coordinated by ERTICO - held a successful workshop at ERTICO in Brussels on 30 May 2008. The event brought together over 70 participants from industry, the toll operators community, members of the RCI Forum, EC and Member State representatives.

 

During this Work Shop the RCI consortium presented and discussed its key results and the contents of the RCI discussion paper which outlines the RCI preliminary validation conclusions as well a number of important lessons learned and issues that need further attention when the European Electronic Tolling Service is to be advanced.

 

Please find below the presentations and discussion paper used during the workshop. Comments on the RCI discussion paper can be sent to o.kerstjens@mail.ertico.com, and when received by 13 June 2008 they will be processed by the RCI consortium when finalising the final report on the RCI validation results.

The final report will be made available to the RCI Forum during summer 2008.
