CESARE III

CESARE III is a project aiming to specify, design, develop, promote and implement a common interoperable Electronic Fee Collection system (EFC) for European toll roads, and looking into the business-related aspects.

 

Both RCI and CESARE III share the goal of achieving European interoperability of different road charging systems.

The liaison between RCI and CESARE could provide a basis for work on the consistency between the technical (RCI) and non-technical (CESARE) frameworks for interoperable tolling throughout Europe.
