ecoDriver

Supporting the driver in conserving energy and reducing emissions

The aim of ecoDriver is to deliver the most effective feedback to drivers on “green” driving by optimising
the driver-powertrain-environment feedback loop.

ERTICO’s EcoMobility sector goals “Eco-smart driving”, i.e. supports drivers to adopt and then maintain a fuel efficient and more environmental friendly driving behaviour. ecoDriver supports such goals by  optimising the feedback provided to drivers to increase both the acceptance and the effectiveness of green driving support for all types of powertrains, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
Encouragement of eco-driving would both bring about additional benefits in terms of carbon reduction and by reinforcing those arising from the sale of more fuel-efficient vehicles.
