VERA2

Enabling pan-European cross-border automatic enforcement
To help ensure that automatic enforcement of road traffic laws is applied equitably to all EU citizens and supports their basic rights as enshrined in Article 1 of the Treaty on the European Union, VERA2 aims to develop the technical tools necessary to support cross-border enforcement and define relationships between enforcement agencies to govern the use of these tools. The project will build on the results of the VERA project, namely short- and long-term recommendations on enforcing traffic laws by video across Member States' borders.
Objectives
