Real time, reliable and personalised traffic and travel information is the key to ensure safer, smarter and more efficient transport systems. Context aware services consider the needs, preferences and accumulated travel bonuses of individuals, their environmental signature (CO2 measurements etc), their travel habits etc.

The data used by ITS applications must be reliable, accurate and continuously available, also across borders.

Our activities in the InfoMobility sector mainly focus on:

• Driving market deployment: providing the framework for market-driven, coordinated, proactive implementation of traffic and travel services and products.
• Implementing information tools: providing tools and establishing market conditions for better travel and goods transport information.
• Increase functionality: ensuring seamless availability of multi-modal pre-trip and on-trip traveller and goods services.
• Awareness and networking: facilitating the effective establishment of marketplace(s) for traveller and goods transport services.
