Following the success of the CLEPA Technology Day 2009 attended by more than 350 selected guests, the CLEPA Technology Day 2010, " Green Technologies for tomorrow’s mobility” will take place on 27 October 2010 in Brussels at Autoworld.
This fourth edition will demonstrate that automotive suppliers not only develop most of the new automotive technologies but also are key players in reducing CO2 emissions while, at the same time, innovating for safety and sustainable mobility.
The CLEPA Technology Day offers a unique opportunity for Europe’s decision makers to experience the latest vehicle technologies showcased by automotive suppliers who are committed to delivering safer, greener and more energy-efficient products.
This event will cover four separate areas: • The Forum for automobile and society will debate on “The electronically chargeable vehicles for tomorrows’ mobility”; • The Anticipation of change partnership will discuss “The impact of the regulatory framework in the automotive industry”; • The eSafety Challenge consortium will demonstrate life saving eSafety applications; • The Warranty experts will present a review of European warranty trends and Warranty Process Guidelines.
Business leaders and policy makers will exchange ideas during the interactive sessions which will focus on topics such as: energy efficiency and CO2 emissions; technological solutions including alternative fuels, hybrids and electric vehicles. Relevant issues covering energy policies, carbon taxes, trade, new skills for green jobs, innovation and advanced safety vehicle technologies are also on the agenda.
