AIDE User Forum Workshop 15-16 March
Date: 28 January 2005
The AIDE Integrated Project – in which ERTICO is a participant – announces its first User Forum workshop, which will be held at BAST in Cologne, Germany, 15-16 March 2005.
AIDE, an EC-supported 6th Framework Integrated Project, is working on the development of an Adaptive Integrated Driver-Vehicle Interface. The AIDE User Forum aims to bring together all stakeholders in the area of Automotive HMI and create a community in which AIDE concepts and developments will be discussed, reviewed and updated.
The 15-16 March workshop will discuss a number of issues, including HMI architecture, design scenarios for an adaptive HMI, standards and guidelines, driver-vehicle-environment modelling for HMI design, behavioural adaptation to ADAS, IVIS and HMI evaluation issues.
The first day will include plenary and keynote presentations and a round table discussion at which key stakeholders – such as the EC, EUCAR, CLEPA, ERTICO, FIA and key public authorities – will participate. The workshop's second day will feature several parallel sessions concerning the above- mentioned issues. In addition, AIDE results on architectural concepts and HMI designs will be presented and discussed.
