Call for tenders open for eSafety implementation status study
Date: 05 April 2007
eSafety Support looks for stakeholders to carry out study on market penetration and coverage of eSafety systems in the EU.
The eSafety Support project has opened a call for tenders for a study to estimate the market penetration and coverage of the eleven priority eSafety systems in all EU member states, Norway and Switzerland for the years 2007 and 2005.
The call for tenders was launched in order to continue to achieve the objectives of stimulating and monitoring the activities, progress and results generated by the eSafety initiative. eSafety Support has been empowered with this task based on recommendations from the eSafety Forum.
Information is instrumental The primary target of the eSafety Forum is to accelerate the deployment and market penetration of the eSafety system, but so far no consistent information on the implementation status of the different systems is available. This information is necessary to assess the current status, identify systems and countries with more successful market penetration and create realistic market penetration predictions.
The call for tenders will close on Friday, 27 April 2007 at 12:00, noon (Brussels time).
