ERTICO News: One more on board at ERTICO

ERTICO – ITS Europe has yet again managed to obtain a bright, young and hard working individual to aid in its mission to develop and deploy ITS in Europe and beyond.

Dr Yanying Li hails from China. She studied her BEng in Electronic Engineering in Tongji University in Shanghai and MEng in Satellite Navigation in Tsinghua University in Beijing. In 2000, she joined the University of Southampton to study for her PhD in transportation engineering, focusing on using GPS for journey time estimation and incident detection. After her studies, she worked as research fellow at the University of Southampton and as an ITS consultant for Mott MacDonald in the UK. Dr Li has experience in the application of satellite navigation in transport engineering, urban and motorway traffic control and management, data analysis and evaluation of ITS measures. At ERTICO, she will be involved, among other things, with the SISTER project. Contact Yanying Li.
