ERTICO News: ERTICO has three new faces to show

Three young, dynamic and upcoming women join team ERTICO!
Amélie Balistreri joined ERTICO in March 2008 as Project Assistant. As a Belgian with Italian and English parents, she speaks French, English, Spanish and Dutch fluently and has a good working knowledge of Italian and Romanian. Her passion for languages is reflected in the fact that she holds a master’s degree in Translation from Institut Marie Haps in Brussels, Belgium.
Before coming to ERTICO, Ms Balistreri gained experience as a translator at ITP Europe, a translation office working in the automotive field, and as a marketing assistant at Schering-Plough, an American pharmaceutical firm.

Ariane Brusselmans has made her come-back to ERTICO. From 2002 to 2004, she worked for various ERTICO activities including the TMC Forum and the GST project.
Since leaving ERTICO in 2004, Ms Brusselmans developed and coordinated various pan-European campaigns for EU institutions. She worked at Pracsis, an EU affairs consultancy and Ogilvy, a leading advertising agency, on public awareness campaigns for the EC in the policy areas of energy, environment and research. Back at ERTICO, she will now lead the communication and dissemination activities on various projects, including the new Field Operational Tests.
Ms Brusselmans holds a masters degree in History from the Catholic University of Louvain and another in International Relations from the Free University of Brussels. A Belgian native, she speaks fluent French, Dutch and English.

Anna-Karin Runemo joined ERTICO in March 2008 as a Junior Finance and Administrative Assistant. She recently completed a traineeship at the EC in the field of translation and holds a master’s degree in Translation from Göteborg University in Sweden. A native Swede, she speaks Swedish, English, French and a little Italian.
Ms Runemo also spent several years in Paris working as an assistant and text editor for a pharmaceutical and e-commerce company respectively.
