ERTICO News: ERTICO stand at Geneva Exhibition a huge success

Two new features at the front of the ERTICO stand were competing for attention: a BMW car displaying the ‘Connected Drive’ technology, and a large plasma screen showing animated cartoons highlighting the added value that ITS can bring in everyday traffic situations. Many visitors used the opportunity to pilot a virtual hero – Eddie - through a series of episodes as he made his journey to work.  Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, eCall, dynamic navigation, Traveller Information Systems and efficient logistics management were featured in the animations.

ERTICO’s ITS Quiz offered everyone the opportunity to test their ITS knowledge, with over 50 delegates taking up the challenge and answering all 19 questions. With information material on all ERTICO-coordinated projects, a special TISA corner, and last but not least a convivial networking area with coffee on tap, the stand attracted many interested visitors who used the opportunity to discuss with ERTICO experts present at the stand.
