This year’s grand gathering for ITS focuses on “ITS for a Better Life” and takes place in Beijing from 9-13 October.

2007 is the year the ITS World Congress makes its mark in China. Set to take place in the Beijing Exhibition Centre from 9-13 October 2007, the 14th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems promises to embody ITS development in Beijing, China and the world. In the advent of the 2008 Olympic Games, the very best and latest in ICT will be on display demonstrating “ITS for a Better Life”.

The ITS World Congress will bring together representatives from governments, related organisations and industry experts from around the globe to exchange ideas and discuss future strategies and initiatives. Exhibitions and demonstrations of the latest products and technologies will be on display as will sessions on the plenary, executive, special, scientific, technical and interactive levels.  There will also be technical and guest tours that will offer the world a glimpse of China’s ITS achievements.
