ERTICO News: New face at ERTICO

ERTICO’s range of expertise grows with the latest arrival.

Mr Peter Christ, who joined ERTICO – ITS Europe this month, hails from T-Systems, whose subsidiary, Satellic Traffic Management, is an ERTICO Partner.  Mr Christ worked with T-Systems (formerly Berkom) since 1994 and has been involved in several EU funded R&D projects.

He was project manager of the EU projects MCP and MOTIVATE. He was with MOTIVATE TV when it became mobile. The project also provided the foundation for what has become DVB-H. MCP investigated a multimedia car platform based on the MHP standard and introduced automotive extensions for GPS, Bluetooth and car sensors.

Since 2003 he worked on product oriented projects to introduce IPTV and Mobile TV in Germany.

Mr Christ comes from Germany and speaks German, English and Spanish. At ERTICO he will be responsible for work on the CVIS project and nomadic devices.
