FRAME Forum to hold open meeting

The ERTICO-coordinated FRAME Forum – which maintains and supports the European ITS Framework Architecture - will be holding an open meeting, Wednesday, 15 November in Vienna. The meeting will be of interest to those involved in developing and deploying ITS services at a national, regional or local level, or who are undertaking Co-operative Systems projects.
The programme will include:
- Updates on the current status of the European ITS Framework Architecture, browsing and selection tools, new supporting documentation under development
- Discussions on the need to create and use ITS architectures and when they should be applied, with supporting presentations from current users
- Plans for future work to be funded by the FRAME Forum.
A more detailed invitation and agenda will be provided by the end of October.
FRAME in London The FRAME Forum will also be present at next month’s ITS World Congress in London, where it will have a Special Session entitled “The Benefits of ITS Architectures” on Monday, 9 October 9.00 – 10.30. ITS Architecture enthusiasts should not miss two Technical Sessions on ITS Architectures and a Special Session on architectures in Co-operative Systems.
