General News: Seminar on public transport travel information services

6 December ITS United Kingdom event catches up with recent developments in information and payment systems.

On 6 December 2007, member of the ERTICO – ITS Europe-hosted Network of National ITS Associations, ITS United Kingdom, through its Passenger Information Interest Group, will host an afternoon seminar entitled “Public Transport – Information and Payment System Update”.

The programme includes speeches from representatives of ERTICO Partners Transport for London, LogicaCMG and Thales.

Launched in December 1999, the Passenger Infromation Interest Group provides a forum for public transport operators, system providers, local authorities, government departments, consultants and academic researchers to meet for informal discussion and information exchange. It is chaired by Dr Chris Querée of ATOC.
