Intern at ERTICO

ERTICO is looking for a university student interested in working in an international environment of experts in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and telecommunication as part of his/her education programme. Our organisation is working for the largest industries in the field of ITS and telecommunication e.g. Nokia, Siemens, BMW, Fiat, Motorola, Volvo, etc. Furthermore, ERTICO is comprised of public authorities from 21 European countries that all have the goal to improve mobility in Europe and to make ITS “part of everyone’s life”.

The work will primarily be to form part of the team for eSafety activities working for the eSafety Support project (www.esafetysupport.org). Most of the work will be focused on disseminating activities and results through web based platforms and seminars. The work will also include the development of new proposals for the demonstration of European technologies on international markets.

Knowledge of ITS or French is not necessary to perform the work. All tasks are completed in English and a high level of written English is therefore expected. The internship period is expected to be 5-6 months starting from February 2006.

ERTICO is an organisation of 35 employees all working on developing the sector for ITS applications together with our 100 partners primarily from Europe.
