IP PReVENT results to be showcased in London
Date: 14 September 2006
The ERTICO-managed PReVENT Integrated Project, the European Commission’s flagship project aimed at exploring the next generation of preventive and active safety systems, is finalising the functional testing of project applications. Next month’s ITS World Congress in London (8-12 October) will feature an extensive set of presentations and demonstrations of the functional subproject results, gearing up for IP PReVENT’s massive project exhibition planned for September 2007.
In London, no less than four Special Sessions giving a complete overview of IP PReVENT, 13 Technical Sessions covering the technical results, four experimental vehicles and two computer demonstrations will be presented during the Congress and Exhibition area.
The Special Sessions will present IP PReVENT’s different complementary aspects: the first test results of IP PReVENT applications (only IP PReVENT), common architecture and integration of ADAS (together with the Integrated Safety Programme), sensor data fusion for safety applications (Fusion Forum), and the map interface with its ADAS Horizon (ADASIS Forum).
