ERTICO Partner Swedish Road Administration highlights in brief its latest activities:

Test Site Sweden: Sweden is currently in the process of establishing a "Test Site Sweden", in order to provide an area for all actors to work together in carrying out actual site tests. The Gothenburg region will host the telematics trials, and the Swedish Road Administration is preparing the test area for EFC (electronic fee collection) and heavy vehicles in Blekinge.
 
2009 Stockholm ITS World Congress: In a communication from the Swedish government to the authorities, both ITS and the Stockholm ITS World Congress to be held 27 September – 4 October 2009 have been mentioned as excellent examples of cooperation efforts that involve all actors and authorities.
 
National ITS Conference: Sweden’s national ITS conference will be held 20-21 September 2006 in Stockholm. This year, presentations will be held in English on the first day of the event as it will also include the participation of international ITS experts and guests.
