Launch of the Fusion Forum!

The ProFusion2 subproject of the EC-supported PReVENT Integrated Project (IP) – of which ERTICO is a participant - has created the Fusion Forum to promote sensor data fusion issues.

During its first phase (February – July 2004), the cross-functional ProFusion1 project identified and gathered the needs concerning sensor data fusion issues. In its second phase, which started in April 2005, ProFusion2 is focusing on research of common interest in all tasks related to sensor data fusion. In addition, a significant goal of ProFusion2 will be to interact with third parties on a bilateral basis in order

to validate the foreseen ProFusion results and gain feedback from well-respected organisations all over the world - with the aim of creating an international consensus on the necessity of using sensor data fusion in multi-sensor environments for intelligent vehicles.

Join the Fusion Forum!
To serve this scope, ProFusion2 has launched the Fusion Forum to join the global organisations in close contact with the ProFusion activities. Fusion Forum members will be able to take advantage of a variety of benefits, including access to key project results and deliverables, discussion fora, and participation in project events.
