ERTICO Partner develops transaction processing system for Movenience.

ERTICO – ITS Europe Partner LogicaCMG has won the bid to deliver a tolling back office to Movenience. LogicaCMG will develop a transaction processing system that will be used for the Westerschelde tunnel in the southwestern Dutch province of Zeeland. Microsoft Dynamics will be the platform for the processing system. The deal includes maintenance of the system for 4 to 6 years.

Movenience will use the TIPS back office for t-tag transactions at the Westerschelde tunnel and is planning to offer other mobility services such as parking. TIPS is a scalable, flexible and repeatable solution which can be used as a back office for various mobility applications.

For the next few years, LogicaCMG is expecting high demand for tolling and mobility solutions in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. LogicaCMG is actively involved in strategic thinking about mobility challenges in Europe. LogicaCMG is convinced that IT-driven solutions will enable major improvements in mobility. The new system is an important addition to LogicaCMG’s portfolio of solutions for mobility challenges.
