Project News: ITS-EduNet officially launched!

European association to promote ITS training and education is founded.

On 25 September 2007, ITS-EduNet was founded as a registered association in Munich, Germany. The new association aims to improve ITS training and education at the European level. It is a direct result of the EC-supported ETNITE project - in which ERTICO - ITS Europe was a participant - that finished in June 2007.

The main tasks of the network are to exchange information on ITS through the establishment of a knowledge database and to organise joint seminars and short courses dealing with special ITS topics, where further education is needed.

Every institution dealing with ITS and interested in improving ITS training and education is invited to join the ITS-EduNet network!
