Project News: PReVENT event in the media

Press review section collects mentions of the September PReVENT in Action! exhibition from the English, German and French-speaking media.

A new press release section, documenting the various articles and mentions that appeared regarding the PReVENT in Action! exhibition, is now online.

On 19-20 Septmember, the EC-supported Integrated Project PReVENT (PReVENTive and Active Safety Applications) held a large and very successful exhibition of technologies for safer road traffic in Versailles, France.

The event received strong political support with the attendance of many VIPs including European Commissioner for DG Information Society & Media, Viviane Reding, and the French Minister of Higher Education and Research, Valérie Pécresse, who participated in demonstrations of the latest in preventive vehicle safety.

A large number of journalists turned up at the event to experience the demonstrations.  Many of their findings can be read in English, German and French on the new IP PReVENT Exhibition, Press Review webpage. A collection of videos on the event is to follow.
