Project News: Stakeholders’ Workshop on Field Operational Tests

FESTA Consortium to hold workshop on perspectives and needs of stakeholders for field operational tests in Europe.
The FESTA Consortium will hold its first workshop on “Stakeholders’ Perspectives and Needs on Field Operational Tests (FOTs)”on 11 December 2007 between 09:30 and 16:00 in Brussels, Belgium at the University Foundation. Anyone interested in taking an active role in the preparation of Field Operational Tests (FOT) in Europe should join.
The workshop will focus on the following specific objectives:
- Define a list of functions and systems that should be included into field operational tests to be held at European level
- Identify the relevant results expected by the different stakeholders when performing field operational tests
- Identify stakeholders relevant indications to the FESTA methodology for field operational tests bringing all stakeholders around the discussion on FOT methodology covering all relevant aspects such as safety, mobility and the environment
