SIMBA sets the programme of 2007 National Events
Date: 25 January 2007
Mark your calendars for a full year of SIMBA international cooperation activities around the globe!
If you are yearning to learn more about ITS, automotive and road infrastructure development in other parts of the world and meet international ITS experts and decision-makers, the EC-supported, ERTICO-coordinated SIMBA project has something in store for you! The project has planned six events in 2007 which will bring together relevant stakeholders in order to build on SIMBA’s objective of strengthening international road research cooperation. Following all of the promising Priority Workshops held last year in China, Brazil, India and South Africa, SIMBA’s agenda for 2007 doesn’t slow down! This year, National Events will be held in each country at which each region’s priority areas will be discussed in more detail. The aim is to form working groups and plan joint demonstrations and collaborative research in ITS, automotive and infrastructure. The events will be an important step in defining future projects in road transport, and your participation is warmly welcome at all of them!
In addition, a special session at the June Aalborg European ITS Congress will take place titled, Opportunities for International Cooperation with Key Emerging Markets, while SIMBA’s European Priority Workshop will take place directly following the ITS Congress.
