ETNITE has been organised into seven Work Packages (WPs)
WP1 - Project management
WP2 - ETNITE network establishment and organization
WP3 - Needs and scenario (state of the art, trends, market survey,...)
WP4 - Good practices definition
WP5 - Dissemination and outreach
WP6 Exploitation planning WP7 Assessment and validation
WP1 Project Management (led by ISMB) The aims of WP1 are to:
- Guide the ETNITE work plan and ensure its progress
- Develop and apply sound quality and financial management procedures
- Develop and maintain contractual documents, including interim and final reports
- Define appropriate collaboration tools and ensure appropriate co-operation among sub tasks
- Ensure dissemination and transfer of results
- Deal with all the appropriate interactions with the National Agency and the Commission
WP 2 Network establishment and organization (led by KTH)
The aims of WP2 are to:
- Establish the future enlarged network organisation
- Organise the signing of Memorandum of Understanding among the partners
- Develop ETNITE operating rules and partnership enlargement rules
- Identify and establish tools for organisational matters and rules
WP3 Needs and scenario (led by ENPC) The aims of WP3 are to:
- Determine the needs of ITS training and education
- Identify potential teaching programmes
- Outline organisational structures to implement innovative European ITS training programmes
WP4 Innovative methods and practices for ITS teaching and learning (led by TRG)
The aims of WP4 are to:
- Analyse the user needs for, and current provision of, ITS training and education by employment sector and user group (according to WP3)
- Develop and demonstrate innovative methods for ITS teaching and learning according to the identified user groups and sectors
WP5 Dissemination and outreach (led by ERTICO) The objective of this WP is to ensure an optimal use of the project results through promotion and dissemination of these within and outside Europe. Through this website and other tools it is hoped that not only the consortium will benefit from the results, but also the participants involved in the ETNITE activities as well as companies, researchers, and authorities outside the main activities will also benefit from ETNITEs findings and information.
WP6 - Exploitation Planning (led by CTU) The aims of WP6 are to:
- Prepare a market survey of ITS training and education
- Organise ETNITE exploitation planning from the market point of view
- Launch a feasibility study for "resources network" of ITS training and education
WP7 Assessment and Validation (led by TUM)
The aims of WP7 are to:
- Carry out the internal assessment of the project
- Define a process for continuous benchmarking and assessment of the future training network
