ITS Conference, New Delhi, 1-2 February 2007
The Intelligent Future of Road Safety and Transport in India, the final EU-India confence, was held at the Taj Ambassador, New Delhi 1-2 February 2007.
European and Indian ITS stakeholders from Government, industry and research met to discuss cooperation in real time traffic information and emergency response services as well as make recommendations for future actions.
A parallel showcase was organised to exhibit the latest technologies from Europe and India including organisations such as ITIS, LogicaCMG and GEWI from Europe and Pricol, Kritikal Solutions, AJS Scale and Delhi College of Engineering from India.
Key outcomes of the event were that participants were invited to join expert Working Groups to continue closer cooperation within the identified priority areas.
