ROSATTE presents first report

The ROSATTE consortium has finalised the first project deliverables on State-of-the-art (D1.1) and Requirements & overall architecture (D1.2).

The deliverable on State-of-the-Art (D1.1) describes the current situation of European road authorities and infrastructure operators with respect to how safety relevant data is stored, exchanged and updated. The report presents results from a questionnaire distributed to road authorities and agencies inside and outside Europe. The survey looked at different aspects such as the road network, organisational aspects, laws and regulations, as well as the current situation regarding safety attributes, databases, applications and data exchange.

The deliverable on Requirements and Overall architecture (D1.2) defines the project scope, users, user requirements and derived system requirements. High-level criteria for user requirements, user cases and data flow have been defined, by both road authorities and information providers.

The two documents will be extensively presented and discussed at the forthcoming workshop on Requirements, to take place in Paris on 17 September. Registration is open until 09 September (see announcement below).

The documents will be distributed to all participants in the 17 September workshop in order to provide first-hand insight into the identified requirements and architecture and to trigger an insightful debate at the workshop.
