ROSATTE was an EU-funded project, which was running January 2008 – June 2010, was funded through DG INFSO, and was coordinated by ERTICO. The project aimed at establishing an efficient and quality-ensured supply chain for information on safety-related road attributes, from public authorities to commercial map providers and other road data users, with a focus on changes in the concerned attributes rather than full data sets.
The ROSATTE deliverables constitute a major input to the work of TN-ITS. Especially, D3.1 will be the basis for the TN-ITS Technical Specification to be developed, and D5.4 gives important clues about issues concerning location referencing that need to be resolved.
