2012 ITS Video Competition rules in brief
General
- The competition is open to all
- The video or videos submitted must have an ITS theme
- Videos can be corporate/project-based, animations – there are no restrictions
- There are two categories – “Public” or “ITS community”
- No video submitted to the 2011 European ITS Congress video competition will be accepted – all other ITS themed videos are acceptable
Stages of the competition
Stage 1: Videos will be embedded on ERTICO and other websites
Stage 2: Videos will be voted on by the ITS community – a shortlist will be created
Stage 3: An ITS expert committee will decide on the finalists in each category from the shortlist
Stage 4: The finalists will be shown in edited form and voted on at the VIP dinner at the 2012 ITS World Congress
Note: Finalists must provide an edited version (60 seconds) of the video for the VIP dinner vote
Prizes
Winning videos (one in each category) shown during the closing ceremony of the 2012 ITS Congress!
Finalists will be shown and voted upon at the VIP dinner at the 2012 ITS Congress
All videos will be shown on the ERTICO stand at the 2012 ITS World Congress
All videos will be shown on the ERTICO, ITS America, ITS Asia Pacific, ITS Congress, National Network of ITS Associations, i-Mobility Network and host organisation websites.
Key dates:
Start of video submission period: May
End of video submission period: 7 September 2012
Open vote by ITS community: 10 – 14 September 2012
ITS expert committee: 17 – 28 September 2012
Editing period for finalists: 1 – 15 October 2012
VIP dinner vote: 23 October 2012
