Support Action for a Transport ICT European large scale action

The objectives of the SATIE Support Action are twofold and are based on the outcomes of the ELSA Task Force. This support action intend to play a consulting role to the EC to give support to detail, investigate, make scenarii and evaluate the different concept of an elsa (European large scale action). It also play the role of Help desk, first contact point for the actors and related stakeholders to explain the process of shaping an elsa, trigger interest, raise awareness and eventually motivate the participation of actors in the elsa community from its very start.

Key tasks

• to elaborate the concept, procedures and added value of a large scale action
• to disseminate and raise the awareness with regard to the possibilities of an elsa with all stakeholders throughout Europe
• to map existing initiatives and possible future initiatives which would fit into an elsa approach
