Mobile LBS (Location-Based Services) applications have become important products of transport-related research and development. Numerous technologies have been developed within research projects and are waiting to be introduced into the European market.

The Technology Day in Dresden is set to display success stories from the field of mobile LBS technologies, provide networking possibilities and thereby create synergies which can be transferred into new research approaches for upcoming developments. One example presented will be the innovative public transport navigation application from the SMART-WAY project.
