ERTICO is pleased to announce that Brussels Mobility has joined its Partnership. Brussels Mobility is the public administration of the Brussels-Capital Region responsible for mobility.
Its responsibilities include developing mobility strategies, enhancing road safety, maintaining sidewalks, paving roads, constructing bike paths, and implementing major infrastructure projects (tunnels, bridges, metro stations). It also monitors traffic, coordinates worksites, and regulates the transportation sector (taxis, driving schools, technical inspections).
Brussels Mobility hopes that joining ERTICO will provide opportunities to connect with other experts across the sector and exchange knowledge on areas such as automated driving, the electrification of mobility and other emerging mobility innovations.

Brussels Mobility’s expertise and perspective as a public authority will further strengthen ERTICO’s multi-sector Partnership, where public authorities, industry, research organisations and mobility stakeholders work together to turn innovation into real-world solutions. Its participation will create new opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration in areas such as connected and automated mobility, electrification and the deployment of innovative mobility solutions in an urban environment.
