CCAMbassador (Connected, Cooperative and Automated MoBility Assessment & Stakeholder Dedicated and Operational awareness Raising) project is the new EC-funded Support and Coordination Action of the CCAM Partnership in accelerating the deployment of Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) across Europe.
The project complements the coordination and alignment efforts of the Partnership by engaging stakeholder communities, including those involved in research and innovation initiatives. Its mission is to support stakeholders in moving from research to real-world operations — identifying key building blocks for deployment, fostering collaboration across EU Member States and Associated Countries, and ensuring the wide use of the European Common Evaluation Methodology for CCAM (EU-CEM).
The CCAMbassador consortium would like to invite (ongoing and completed) CCAM project representatives attending the RTR 2026 Conference to a half-day workshop in the afternoon before the conference starts.
The purpose of the workshop is to exchange knowledge and insights with a focus on practical approaches, tools, and solutions implemented within CCAM projects to raise awareness, build capacity, and support readiness for CCAM piloting and future deployment. Participants will be invited to share insights, learnings, best practices, challenges from their project activities and experience, to inform the development of CCAMbassador’s common framework for CCAM awareness and capacity assessment
Another discussion topic will be the project’s proposed methodology for capturing lessons learned during the project, but also to devise a systematic collection process and associated recommendations to EC.
Finally, the workshop will be opportunity to gather initial feedback on CCAMbassador’s proposed building blocks for CCAM deployment, including emerging priority actions.
Participants will also be able to exchange information with the partners responsible for the CAD Knowledge Base and European Common Evaluation Methodology for CCAM (EU-CEM).
The workshop is targeted, though not limited, at CCAM project partners. Registration is free, and on a first-come first-served basis. Deadline to register: February 2nd
