The European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD) series returns with two exciting opportunities for the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) community.
Registration is now open for the EUCAD Symposium 2026, taking place on 8–9 October 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland, while the Call for Sessions for the 6th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD 2027), to take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 9-10 June 2027, is now open until 31 July 2026.
Organised by the CCAMbassador project, coordinated by ERTICO - ITS Europe, in collaboration with the European Commission DG RTD and the CCAM Partnership, the EUCAD Symposium 2026 will bring together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers and public authorities to discuss the latest developments in Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility. This year's programme will focus on key topics including artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, regulation, and CCAM deployment in cities, while also offering participants the opportunity to experience live demonstrations of automated mobility solutions in Geneva.
As preparations for the Symposium continue, the community is also invited to contribute to EUCAD 2027, which will take place in Brussels on 9–10 June 2027. Organisations are encouraged to submit proposals for technical and policy-oriented sessions covering topics such as AI, safety, digital infrastructure, governance, large-scale demonstrations and the future deployment of automated mobility across Europe.
Before looking ahead, it's also worth revisiting the highlights of EUCAD 2025, where experts from across Europe gathered in Ispra, Italy, to discuss the latest advances in CCAM research, innovation and deployment. If you missed the event—or would like to revisit some of the discussions—you can explore a selection of recordings below.
