Impact
TM2.0 enables vehicle interaction with traffic management by building upon deployment of connected vehicles and travellers in order to achieve convergence of mobility services. By creating synergies between actions of the individual travellers with the collective mobility objectives, TM2.0 connect innovative developments in the vehicle and in traffic management while prmoting new business opportunities. The concept has fed into the EC Regulations on RTTI and MMMS.
Thought leadership in interactive traffic management based on the principles of co-opetition and trust.
Objective
- Provide a discussion forum on interactive traffic management for stakeholders in the entire TM Procedure value chain
- Use a set of common interfaces, principles and business models to facilitate the exchange of data between vehicles and TMC
- Improve the entire value chain for consistent TM and mobility services
