Impact
TN-ITS creates data-chain mechanism for trusted authoritative spatial road data changes, between road authorities and map makers & services providers. Members work to enhance road safety, transport efficiency, automation and applications such as Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), smart parking and cycling. It also encompasses National Access Points (NAPs)
Objective
- Facilitate and foster the exchange of ITS-related spatial road data between road authorities as trusted data providers, and data users as map providers and other parties..
- Bringing fresher digital map data to intelligent transport services, including authoritative and regulatory data and information.
