Impact
EBRT2023 develops technology-driven solutions for Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) that are fully integrated into the broader urban mobility landscape. The project aims to define a new European BRT concept for 2030, enhancing the performance and efficiency of urban bus systems across Europe.
Objective
Support sustainable urban transport by achieving measurable reductions and deploying innovative solutions:
- Reduce cost per kilometre per passenger by 10%
- Lower total cost of ownership (TCO) by 10%
- Cut greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions by 70%
- Decrease traffic congestion by 10%
Deploy innovative, integrated, user-centric, economically viable, and flexible mobility solutions, demonstrated through real-life cases in Europe and beyond.
