On 24 November 2026, CERTAIN will host a webinar exploring In-Service Monitoring and Reporting (ISMR) and its role in safety assurance throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
As automated driving systems move towards deployment, safety assurance needs to extend into everyday operation. Monitoring and reporting during use can provide evidence to support the continued assessment of their safety.
The webinar will introduce CERTAIN’s ISMR goals and research progress, followed by a discussion of its functional requirements. It will also examine governance mechanisms linking ISMR with pre-deployment approval and periodic technical inspection of automated vehicles.
The session is aimed at colleagues from CCAM-funded projects, research organisations and industry, including members of the SAVVY Community.
