Are you a city representative, local authority, urban planner or mobility officer interested in unlocking the power of open data for sustainable urban mobility? The SUM project is pleased to invite you to an interactive learning and demonstration session on how to use the SUM Open Data Platform (ODP), a platform designed to support data-driven planning and evaluation of new and shared mobility and public transport interventions across European cities.
What the SUM ODP Offers
The SUM ODP is a Pan-European Open Data Platform developed under the EU-funded Horizon SUM project to monitor, analyse and compare the impact of push and pull measures on New Shared Mobility and public transport in urban areas. It provides cities with:
- Interactive KPI and modal split dashboards to explore mobility trends
- Impact analysis and measures comparison tools for evidence-based decision-making
- Business activity decision support tools to prioritise mobility interventions
- Resources, models and optimisation tools to support sustainable mobility planning
Whether you’re interested in integrating shared mobility with public transport, evaluating policy outcomes, or benchmarking mobility measures, this session will help you understand how the platform can support your city’s sustainable mobility goals.
During the session, participants will:
- Learn how to create an account and set up their city as a Living Lab on the Platform
- Discover how to add mobility measures and KPI data to track real-world impacts
- Explore the platform’s dashboards, visualisation tools and analytics features
- Get practical insights on using ODP data for mobility planning and reporting
- Engage in Q&A with SUM project experts and data platform developers
Who Should Attend:
City officials, local authority mobility teams, transport planners, data analysts, urban policymakers, and anyone involved in designing, implementing or evaluating sustainable mobility solutions at the local level.
By participating, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience with a cutting-edge open data platform supported by EU research funding
- Learn how to leverage shared mobility and public transport data to inform policy decisions
- Join a growing community of urban Living Labs across Europe, sharing insights and mobility innovations
More details about the content will follow in the coming weeks.
