The 33rd ITS World Congress in Birmingham, 25 – 29 October 2027 continues to build momentum, with more leading organisations from across the mobility ecosystem confirming their place on the exhibition floor. The latest names include ERTICO Partners, TomTom, INRIX and PTV Group, alongside Navtech Radar, smartmicro, Roadsys and Teledyne FLIR.
Organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe, the Congress draws on the strength of its Partnership and wider international community to bring together the expertise, technologies and collaboration shaping intelligent mobility. The growing exhibitor line-up reflects the breadth of the ecosystem coming together in Birmingham.
The exhibitor community continues to grow
The latest confirmations join fellow ERTICO Partners Toyota, DENSO, T-Systems, SWARCO, Monotch and evon GmbH, among the first organisations to secure their exhibition spaces.
Other confirmed exhibitors include Q-Free, Jenoptik, HAAS Alert, Acusensus, Ettifos, RTIG and QRoutes Ltd, alongside global ITS organisations ITS America, ITS Japan, ITS Asia-Pacific, ITS Mobility GmbH, ITS Nordic+ and CRP (ITS Portugal).
Together, they reflect the cross-sector character of the ITS World Congress, bringing expertise spanning mobility data, traffic management, connected infrastructure, sensing technologies, road safety and other areas of intelligent transport to one international stage.
Bringing the mobility ecosystem together
More than 350 exhibitors are expected at the NEC Birmingham, creating a global showcase for established solutions, emerging technologies and real-world applications of intelligent transport.
Across the exhibition and wider programme, participants will explore developments across the four confirmed topics: Trustworthy and Resilient Systems, Next-Generation ITS, Connected and Integrated Services, and Deploying ITS at Scale.
Together, they will enable Congress participants to address opportunities and challenges across safety, cybersecurity and resilience to artificial intelligence, connected mobility, multimodal services, sustainable deployment and user-centred design.
Bringing these perspectives together is central to ERTICO’s role as organiser. Its Partnership connects public and private stakeholders across sectors, creating a platform for expertise, ideas and real-world experience to contribute to the discussions and solutions presented in Birmingham.
The West Midlands provides a strong setting for this exchange. As the UK’s first Future Transport Zone and Transport Sandbox, the region combines transport innovation with real-world deployment across connected and automated mobility, traffic management, public transport and multimodal integration.
The Congress is supported by the UK Government, reinforcing Birmingham 2027 as an international platform for showcasing UK transport innovation and strengthening collaboration between government, industry and the global mobility community. Support includes the Department for Transport (DfT), Department for Business and Trade (DBT), Transport Technology Forum (TTF), Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) and ITS UK.
This strong UK backing complements the Congress's international cooperation with ITS America, ITS Asia-Pacific and the European Commission, bringing together UK leadership with the wider global ITS community.
